When starting her business, Kristin’s goal was to make something that is versatile and affordable for women of all ages and backgrounds. She created a jewelry line that represents her style while also being transitional to wear from day to night. She also describes her brand as classic, yet edgy and trendy with a pop of personality.
Her pieces range in price from $29 and can go up to $74. Before I had more knowledge about Uncommon James I expected the prices to be more expensive, so I am quite impressed with how affordable her line is. She has everything such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings, hair accessories, ear cuffs, and rings. On her website it can be navigated by style or color/ material the item is made out of.
As well as jewelry, which is her main focus, Kristin has started to grow her brand more. On the website you can also find a home section as well as some apparel. She also recently launched “Little James” which is a kid’s clothing line.
In my opinion Uncommon James has great products that anyone can wear. They are all simple yet feminine while also affordable! This brand has a lot of potential for more success considering how timeless their products are. Moving forward I think this brand will follow future trends well and also stay relevant.
As far as their social media goes their Instagram has a very strong presence. They currently have 933K followers and I think Instagram is their best marketing platform to be on. They tag every item in the picture they post that shows the price and that leads you directly to their website when you click on it.
