Hi beauty lovers! This week I wanted to talk about makeup products. As we all know the products we put on our face can definitely add up, to be a ridiculous amount if you let it. It makes me cringe to think about how much money I have spent on makeup since I started wearing it. So, that is why I want to share with you my favorites “dupes” you can find at the drugstore or other beauty stores instead of dropping a bunch of money on high-end designer brands.
To start, lets cover one of the MOST popular concealer that has been on the market this year. Tarte Shape Tape Concealer has been everywhere lately! But, it retails at $27 for a regular tube. It seems to be a fan favorite to everyone who is into makeup or follows social media trends. But, the dupe that I find the closest match is E.L.F’s Camo Concealer that retails for $6 at any drugstore.

Next up I want to cover face primer. I find that people either love or hate using face primer, but I like to stick to a routine that includes it. The high end product I find that beauty guru’s love is Tatcha’s Silk Canvas Protecting Primer which can be found at the store for $52. YES $52, insane right?! E.L.F definitely does it again with this one. Their Poreless Putty Primer should be considered magic for only being $8. I have found barley any negative reviews for the Putty Primer and for the sincere price difference it has compared to Tatcha, I think it is worth the try.

If you wear any type of liquid foundation you probably know that it should be set with setting powder. A well-known setting powder product I have heard a lot about is the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder ($45). I mean even by that name it should make any face look picture perfect. After much research and comparison, Maybelline’s Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powder is its own duplicate that will only cost you $6. It is known for keeping a poreless look all day while not costing you a lot of money!

Next up is blush! In my opinion the most iconic blush on the higher end market is Nars Orgasm Blush which retails for $30. It is pretty much the one blush that everyone talks about. But with the price it makes it a pretty steep investment depending on how often you purchase it. The dupe I have found to be the most similar is the Milani Baked Powder Blush in the shade Luminoso 05 which you can purchase for $9! I can confidently say it is as close as you will get to Nars Orgasm for less than $10.

Lastly, eyeshadow preferences and trends very the most among makeup users. One color palette I have seen that never has gone out of style is the use of neutrals. You can never go wrong with neutrals on your eyelid to help spice up your makeup look. One of the most popular palettes filled with peoples favorite shades of browns is Natasha Denona’s Biba All Neutral Eyeshadow Palette which comes in at a whooping $129 on the market! Many companies have a neutral palette, but the one I have found that is closest to this is the Milani Most Loved Mattes Eyeshadow Palette. This palette can be purchased for $19.99 and it has nothing but great reviews.

I hope this has helped some of you with finding cheaper alternatives to your favorite makeup products! But remember the price does not always mirror the quality. All of these dupes I have found have nothing but great reviews, so it is worth the try if it does not break the bank! Let me know if you like any of these products or if you found something else that resembles something else on the market.
Stay safe and healthy! XOXO
